I am still thinking about coilovers, but am finding it hard to find the negatives to using them, besides cost, that is. I got more serious about them after I had a rear spring fail (see attached pic). Tjhe car idled for an extended period and perhaps the heat from those 3" pipes toasted it.

I got a new stock shift knob and rather like the feel of that leather.
