Aftermarket Stereo

I'm wondering if any members have installed aftermarket stereos and if so, could you provide advice and tips. I'm looking for a clean installation that provides great fidelity (insane not required - quality over quantity) that can be reverted back to stock in the future.

I'm driving a 2003 Z06
