Blend door actuator

I might have the same problem. Have you gotten your old one out?? I'd consider trying to fix it if possible. It looks like a bear to get out.

It dont look that bad I work on aircraft for a living aircraft can be a pain to work on.

Just take your time and think things though before you make you'r move or you will be opening a big can of worms up.

Trust me on this one been there done that.

I just wish they made more NEW after market replacement parts for these cars.

Hey, that choke cable is an awesome idea.. And a cheap long term fix. Thanks for that idea... I may end up using it someday.:beer

Choke cable $10.00

Yea I don't ride a HD just dirt bikes but a nice one still cost money I don't own junk and wont ride junk I to old for that.

I sold my 2009 Honda CR500 AF to build this Vett I ready to build anouther bike.

This time around a KTM 300 al tricked out I like the Starter button.

Wow, Honda CR500, an awesome bike. We have hundreds of miles of old/mining era rail beds and roads in our area. I have also been an avid off-roader for 36 years, Jeeps, dirt bikes and now ATV's. I'm almost 60 yo and still can't get enough. I know Calif. is an off-road paradise, with large area's to ride, someday.

Choke -"Choke"

Now you got me thinking about a choke cable. Would that clear the "Temp door" code???
I could live with a manual solution if it fooled my automatic air conditioner.

But right now, the compressor wont kick on because the Temp Door is throwing code '2' to the AC diagnostic display.

I take pictures after I install the cable I try to work on this weekend

The CR500 AF was a nice bike but it also had it's issues #1 was vibration you always tighting botls breaking pipe mounts.

But I had the motor installed in a 2005 CRF 450X frame it was a street legal frame it had the geat power of CR500 but the handling of new genaration bike best of both worlds the top end about 90 mph not enough for long fire road ran out of motor.

I had a 2006 KTM 560 Fully tricked out 6 speed trans this bike had warp speed scary type topend but the weight of the 4 stroke motor was its draw back.

Like I said next bike will be a 2 stroke KTM 300 fully tricked out not as quick as the CR500 but not all custon made so if and when it breaks it will not be a bog deal fabing up new replacement parts for it.

I do my own fabing thats what I do for a living.

I love the smell of 927 2 stroke mix with gas in the morning.
