Here's my dilemma
I've replaced the fiberglass reinforced plastic air intake on my 1980 L82 - the original part number from GM's Assembly Instructions was 14016116 - no big deal but here's where I need some help.
There is a three piece black foam seal kit that attaches to the top of the radiator shroud with a peal off adhesive strip. Two of the pieces are on the outside portion of the support and one goes under the air inlet duct for the air cleaner assembly.
Corvette America, Central , Keens Parts etc. all carry the air duct but I have yet to find the foam seals? I talk radiator and there are plenty of seal/supports - I talk air intake and there is plenty of flex duct to attach to the air duct - but no foam seals
The original part numbers are 14016159 and 14016160 - these parts seem to be stuck between radiator support and air intake ducts.
Can someone point me to the solution - I have a pdf file of the assembly diagram if that would help
thanks
Mark
