Air Mixture Solenoid connector color

Need to know what is the correct solenoid connector color. I am referring to the connector in the E4ME carb, not the engine wiring harness connector.

The one I have is black and wonder if it should be blue....or if there is any difference between the two??

I can't tell you if it makes a difference, but mine is black...Tim

My original was black, the replacement from another E4ME was blue and the two new ones I have right now are both black. There is no difference between them as there is only one build in this shape.

On the 4thGen forum I asked if there where other AF solenoids with a higher refresh rate then 10Hz but they said this was the only version made (in this shape).

I can only find blue replacements. Hopefully the coil resistance is the same.

The refresh rate is determined by the CCC, not the solenoid.

It is. Black or blue are both fine (mine is blue).
