How many CFM does the filtration element flow @ 10" of mercury? Also, how smooth is the air flow from the element to the bridge?

Hello NORTY,

At 1.5" H2O we saw a 19.18 Percent increase over the factory Intake system.

We use 1.5" H2O because that is the industry standard.

Any other questions, please let me know.

Thanks,
David

Thank you David for the speedy reply!

Does the add'l air cause the MAF to transmit "bad info" to the ECM? (Does it throw codes?)

Thanks again. I was thinking of the vette-air scoop in conjunction with your system.

NORTY,

No problem, I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have.

The AIRAID will not throw any codes. It was designed for correct Mass air flow and air fuel ratio.

Try the system out, you will be very happy with it.

Any other questions, please let me know.

Thanks,
David

Only thing it has caused on my LS3 08 is tire squeeling. I can feel an improvement. No CEL or problems of any king.

Nothing wrong with some tire squeeling:thumb

Just wanted to give a heads up!

Had an AiRaid on my S10 SS. It was a really nice piece, and lasted forever.

Hi David, We are using 1.5 pounds of water pressure is what you are saying? As opposed to 14.7 pounds of pressure, correct? You are pushing 1.5 above 14.7, correct?

What is the machine you use to make 1.5" H20 the industry standard. Thanks for that answer and if say you could name the company (or a photo of the unit?) and if that is powered with 220v or you can use house current like my aquarium pump ain't making it.

20% gain seems almost a constant is double from 10 being 1 atmosphere equals 14.7. Interesting.

Have you tested the percentage gain without running a filter? Have you tried that as a sort of baseline like using the stock OEM as a baseline for percentages?

Just curious on this one, but have you tried running the industry standard against the crankcase breather in the closed loop as opposed to reading your air cleaner intake now with the crankcase not in a pound sorta state but open to 14.7 pounds sorta see if you spun the puppy faster at the flow at the pounding the breather is taking is what is the pound in the crankcase?
Any number playing like that on the air pump is just an engine.

Hello cntrhub,

We use a Superflow SF1020 with Flowcom Computer.

The Equipment is used per standard industry practice.

Thanks,
David
