Well, I've got some info to offer and am looking for some info....

For the last year, my 90 vette has been a real pain in the ass.
After being stranded several times, I've sent the vette to the local shop and had them go thru it.
Seems like as soon as the car warms up It may decide to just quit running at times.
Sometimes I can get it restarted and if I do it's rough as a cob.
Well, finally, the shop caught it in the act.
Seems like the temp sensor is intermittent and was telling the computer the engine was stone cold.
As soon as the computer got this input it caused the engine to run maximum rich mode.
Anyway, new sensor and everythings great.

Just thought I'd share as this seems to be a common problem according to the shop. I'd hate to have you guys go thru this.

Now,

Seems like I have a defective seat belt module or "duram" as it is called in the part cat.
Can't seem to buy one any where and when I did find one it required the dash to be disassembled to the tune of 400 bucks.
Turns out the one I got at the junk yard was no good.
Now I had to pay to have the old one put back in and the junk yard one returned so I could get my money back.
Would have left it in so I didn't have to pay another 400 but I paid more for the part.
I had them disable the module so I didn't get a seatbelt warning light but I'd sure like to know if there is some alternate way to get an airbag system to work in the car again.

Any thoughts?

I'm confused...do you have a problem with the SIR system or the seat belt light?

One thing you can try as a prelim--if the problem is SIR--is remove the front impact sensors, clean their mountings, then reinstall them. A problem with 90s is bad grounds for the sensors and cleaning usually reestablishes that grounding.
