AIT sensor question

I'm relocating the AIT to the air filter assembly. Running an open box I can not locate as suggested in the air filter cover. I think my next best location would be the top or side of the plennum above the filter housing. Does anyone have an opinion on the best location in this situation on the 85. :argue
It also looks like a bear to get to the sensor (this was supposed to be a 30 minute job:eyerole
Suggestions appreciated.
