Alignment Problem?

The driver side front tire on my 02 Z has worn down to almost to the threads on the OUTSIDE of the tire. This is the only tire on the car with a problem. My question is, is it possible that just is an allignment problem or will it be something more serious?

Most of the posts I've read have wear issues with the inside of the tire but mine is the outside.

I do not track the car so If I need an alignment what do I want them to do to get even wear on all the tires? + or - camber or something like that? I'm a little out of my league here when it comes to the setup I need/want.

Any suggestions on where to have the car serviced? Dealer, corvette shop? I live in Milwaukee WI.

Yes, you have a problem on your left front.
And you're going to have to replace that tire soon.

Here's some good numbers for your alignment from Gmjunkie. I'm using them on my 98 right now and like them a lot. All the bump steer and hard steering are gone.

As for a shop? Dealers rarely do a good, complete alignment. Find a shop that has a Hunter Alignment system.
