Hello All. :w
I was wondering if anyone has bought a vette from the American Sports Car Center in Atlanta GA.? If you have i would like to know how the buying of the car went and if they know the history in depth of the car. Thanks in advance. Lata.

american sports car center

I just bought my first corvette from american. I live in Boston so i did alot of reserch. It was a 94 black vette with 104 thousand miles. I had a 30 day warranty to get it checked out by a mechanic. I dealt with greg and Jimmy(the owner) both very helpful and nice guys. When I got the car thier were really no suprises. everything was what I thought . I put new tires on it had it alligned and my mechanic put a new air flow system in. My mechanic told me the car was in real good shape and i will say it drives great. I might paint the hood because of a few bubbles, but i knew that when i bought it. Also they told me if i had any need for parts to call them and they would get them wholesale and ship them to them. I would say go for it. I would do it again.

1AB93Vette,

I live here in Atlanta and have not heard anything negative about the American Sport Car Center. I looked at some Corvette there, and would have bought one from them if they had what I was look for. As with any used car, you should get the car checked out by someone you trust.

Good luck:w

I live in the vicinity of ASC and use the mechanic in the same facility. The ASC is in the same building with The Last detail. I asked one of the Last Detail's staff about a car there on the ASC lot one time and he gave me some very valuable background information.

My sense is that some of the cars are purchased at auction, such as Bloomington, or others and then cleaned up for sale. I have met the staff but have never actually tried to deal on a car with them. Like every Vette lot I have ever been on sometimes he has great deals. Depends on you preferences and wallet.

I have never bought a car from them but have done inspections for independant buyers there. The c4s and c5s seem to be what they appear but the c3s are a horrible misrepresentation.I have also done some work on some c3s that were bought from there and they were hacked up.You might do ok buying a c4 if the price is right .:w
