Ammeter

Problem. A few years ago my ammeter started working in reverse. No wires were changed on the ammeter itself. Tracing the wires on the original Corvette schematic...both wires return to the same terminal on the horn relay. This can't work. Anyone have any correct schematics on ammeter wiring. Thanks Rich

I believe one wire goes to the horn relay, the other goes to the starter soleniod.

{according to the 72 service manual anyway}
