Ive tried all kinds of cleaners and none really did a good job. So...i bought a tiny can of gloss white lacquer paint and using a 1" wide Foam Brush...i painted the letters at the rate of 5 minutes per tire. Because the letters are raised, you dont have to worry about getting paint on the rest of the tire. And if you do, silicone spray on a rag takes it off at once.
Just did my letters tonight, and they look like they are brand new tires...very white.
(Be sure and use an oil based paint, and not a water soluable paint )
