Another exhausting question

I have decided on a Magnaflow system, but not stainless. Does anyone run with the muffler eliminators and have a sound clip. I am a little concerned that they may be on the loud side. Also is this a cat back system?? The stainless looks to be an axle back.

Magnaflow only makes one system for 92-96 Vettes. It is part # 15623. It is the stainless steel system / axle back. They felt that the exhaust from the cats back to the mufflers on our year cars was more than adequate and no gains were made by replacing "pipe for pipe". The mufflers are the weak link.

You can get this system from www.performancepeddler.com for less than $350 shipped BUT you must call them!

This is the system that I have on my car and I love it & you can't beat the price as well as the quality.

Thanks for the reply, it sounds great. I was on the Central Corvette website and called them the part numbers are 324133 with muffler eliminators and 324148 with mufflers. Check it out and let me know what you think. Prices are $329.00 and $429.00. Thanks Fred.

Just checked Corvette Central again, I don't know who's system it is but it comes with Magnaflow Mufflers. Any info on these???????????

the muffler body look identical to the stainless magnaflows, just no shiny coating. I'd bet there is no difference.

Depends on what you actually want including the tip design & muffler finish.
What I bought works for me.

I paid $320 shipped & $80 to install and I was rockin'!

I agree with Jeff. I have the same system on my 92 LT1 coupe and love them. They sound great and look equally as awesome. I haven't seen a better system on a C4. It doesn't make sense to buy a catback system when you can get these for 1/2 the cost. I wouldn't mess around with anything else. They are definitely the best bang for your buck.
