another paint question

I will be real short, can some one please tell me how to read the paint code of a vette from the VIN number. My little sticker in my glove box got rubbed out.

Ah, I found it!

It's in the Model Center. Find your year, then click on the link called "Identification"

You will need to take your VIN to someone who can deciper it for you!

Without your RPO code tag in your glovebox your paint code is no where else on the car.

Do NOT mistake the RPO color code for the paint code needed to match your paint.

The RPO code (example 21U for Electron Blue) will Not help a paint shop.

They need the actuall Paint code, which for my Electron Blue for example is: U 779J
