Another warranty Question

Did I read Ken's response correctly? He says the GMPP doesn't cover parts and labor in his response to another post.
I thought that was what the warranty was for, help.

any gmpp warranty i ever had, and had to use,always covered parts and labor if the breakdown was covered!no wear and tear items covered,wiper blades,brake pads.light bulbs,ets...no,i don't know if they've changed that lately,but why have a warranty if labor and/or parts aren't covered??doesn't make sense.

WHAT’S NOT COVERED?
Maintenance services and parts, physical damage, glass, lenses, sealed beams, light bulbs, and tires. Components not installed by the vehicle manufacturer. Bumpers, sheet metal, body panels and parts. Carpet, hinges, trim, upholstery, convertible or vinyl tops, moldings or bright metal. Air and water leaks, wind noise, odors, weather-strips, squeaks, rattles, paint, rust carburetor, contaminated fuel system, exhaust system, catalytic converter, brake drums & rotors, shock absorbers, and batteries.

This is what was posted: Maybe those first 2 words threw me. I thought that was the whole idea. I guess this is my idea of a warranty: no hassles, and fix what's broken in the time limit of the warranty.

I think "maintenance services and parts" refers to regular maintenance like oil changes, etc.

If only there were a warranty out there that would cover oil changes and tires. LOL.

That also means normal wear parts such as the clutch system on a manual.
