anti lock light

I start the car today to drive home from school. I noticed that the second I put turned my lights on the ABS light came on and started making that "you left your keys in the ignition" periodic bling.

I turned the car off, turned the lights off, etc. The ABS light is on now whenever the car is on. With the headlights on the car makes that bling sound. With the lights on I noticed also that my dash and interior lights (radio, ac, etc) would dim randomly.

What is going on? The brakes work just as they always have.

Sounds like, maybe, there's a bad ground somewhere. Time to get out the ohmmeter.

As in the ground for the dash? I shouldnt really be asking for help untill ive atleast tried a solution. It happened tonight! Figured maybe it was a common occurance.. ill get to tracking it down.... next weekend.

I really have to get around to buying another car besides the vette... realllly easy to get stuck, and a real pain in the ass to find time to do long things like say, the superram install. Anyone else use their c4 as their daily driver?

I use mine as a daily driver but also have a back up car.

well, sorta fixed the problem. Simple blown fuse... put it in.. it worked.. it blew again. Put another one in, carefully went through everything i had done before (to try and see why it blew).. but it never did.

I wouldnt say the problem is fixed because the reason for it blowing twice isnt clear... but its working and I have my overdrive back (THANK GOD... gas ~ 2.11 a gallon).

Great ride this morning... side by side a yellow c5 convert... at around 3 grand in my .67 overdrive!
