Okay, I'm changing the oil today. Let out the drain plug, it's going well. Then I try to get the filter off, but it just won't budge. I have the filter wrench, but it was just bending and digging into the oil filter.
Please, is there anything else I can do to get this oil filter off? I have the filter wrench with the teeth (they were doing a number on the oil filter), and tomorrow I'm going to pick up a belt filter wrench and try that out.
But, please, any ideas on what I should do? It's stuck...really stuck.
Thanks!

But, seriously, I was just seeing if everyone was paying attention to my post.
Guess I know better now. :BOW One other thing I forgot to mention: Most of the 70's 350 vettes came with a smaller (approx. 1/2 quart size) filter. My suggestion is to use a full size quart one, in it's place. I've been doing that since I've owned mine. Also, I've known guys that will even use the larger "2 quarters" that GM puts on the commercial trucks. I figure the bigger the filter, the more oil passes through it & the longer it takes the filter to become completely blocked by particles.
