My buddy is searching for a C5 and thinks he found one but he lives near me in New Jersey and the vette is in Memphis. And it doesn't belong to "Elvis".

Can anybody take a look, l will PM you the address to see if it's close to you. Digital pic's hide too much and there is nothing like human eyes.

C5 Inspection in Memphis.....

Damn generous offer Boeingdriver.

It's no problem. If I were in his shoes, I'd want someone I could trust to go look at a deal. We (Corvette owners) look at these cars differently than other folks and nobody wants to get stuck with a C5 that has been driven and treated like a Saturn. I'm preparing my '96 C4 for Bloomington Gold in June and I know what to look for and report back on that C5. Plus, I learn alot by taking to the seller and estimating how he has taken care of the car based on what he says and how he keeps his other vehicles (if any). I bought an '03 Tahoe last weekend to tow my C4 and I drove the seller crazy looking at the vehicle, pulling service records, getting underneath the thing, etc. When we finally exchanged money for title last Saturday, he said "you know more about the darn thing than I do!"

Well, I'll take that as a compliment. And I turned down at least five other SUVs because they couldn't pass my inspection.

So I'm happy to help.
