Welcome to the Corvette Forums at the Corvette Action Center!

Anyone around? In desperate need of help.

1 pm Gm roadside finally showed up to tow me to the dealer. Only a 4 hour wait.
Don't know yet. Please see new post titled WORDS CANNOT EXPRESS

As always C4C5 was right. The battery. I never seen a car with a bad battery act as strange as my Vette did. 2 year old battery and a daily driven car. Doesn't make sense it would go bad but they replaced with no charge. Thank God it didn't fall off the lift while they did the work like one of our members had happen to him. That's a real problem. Once again thanks to all and be safe this weekend.

Glad it was something simple and that your car will be available this weekend for your trip. I was also surprised when my car acted this way and it was only a battery. These vehicles today are possessed I say... :D

Interesting.
My battery also did not even last 2 years.
Unfortunately, when it happened, the car was out in the hinterlands of rural central Georgia and having it fixed under warranty would have meant waiting on a tow truck to drive 50 miles to pick it up, then watching some doofus load up my car and drive away with it :eek for the 50 mile trip back to the nearest authorized dealer. All this on thd day after Christmas.
I passed, and bought a new battery myself.

The maroons at the local NAPA didn't connect it quite properly, causing me all manner of weird electrical symptoms until I found out what was wrong.

Well. All I can say.........

Only in Georgia!!!!!!!!
:L ;LOL :L :L :D
