Welcome to the Corvette Forums at the Corvette Action Center!

Anyone ever heard of "Classic Auto Accessories of North America" Wheels?

This is the first time I recall seeing that rim.

I researched these cars for three years before I bought mine, and I've got a fairly extensive library, but I do not remember seeing those rims on a Vette.

When you mentioned the vendor name, however, I wanted to say that that's who actually supplied my ZR1 rims, even though I bought them from Zip or Corvette America. Hmmm....

Vet1,

They are apparenty cast in titanium (!) and among (if not) the most expensive wheels you could buy in the 1980s. You are the only person I have gotten in touch with that has ever heard of them. The reason I know is that I have the same wheels on an extremely rare 1987 Mercedes 1000 SEL that I own, and my curiosity put me in touch with the guy who bought my car new, who told me this. I have seen them only once more, and that was on a Mercedes 560 SEC on autotrader. It is odd that my european car has them. :)

Yours sincerely
