Anyone fitted a Hays clutch???

The clutch is starting to slip under hard acceleration in my 1990 Callaway. I have been quoted a good price for a Hays clutch and was wondering if anyone has fitted one to their C4?

I understand this is a good clutch as regards handling a lot of power and torque but what is it like to use? My concerns centre around whether this clutch will be a pain to use?

I've heard good things about Centerforce but that's not an easy option for me to come by in the UK.

Anyone tried both? Anyone's help is appreciated as I intend to order a clutch in the next couple of days - don't want to be off the road too long!

Hang in there Malc, someone with recent experience is bound to see this. I haven't used a Hayes clutch set up in years so I'm a little in the dark if there is any technological improvements to them.
