Hi all :w

I've been told BF Goodrich used to do a 265/50/16 in a Radial T/A.

I think these would be a good 'beefier' look on my 16 x 9.5 inch rims .... 295/50/16 would be too big ....

Any advice (yep I will upgrade to 17's down the line after my rebuild) ....

Thanks all :)

I'd never heard of that size, but I think the choices in these (once huge) smaller diameter tires is shrinking. You probably already looked, but the only intermediate sizes I found in 16", were competition tires.

I thought that a wider, but lower profile tire might fit, but doubt you want any of these.

Thanks for that .... I've checked them out but not quite what I am chasing.

BF GOODRICH USA site states that the tire 265 50 16 is still available but dealers say its discontinued.

I'm emailing US dealers seeing if anyone may have some NOS. You never know your luck I guess !;shrug

You know tires get hard as they age. Any tire 5 years old has no warranty by any of the tire companies because of the age.

Yeah point taken .... maybe 17'sis the way to go .... there's just nothing in terms of larger 16 inch tires.

295/50/16 are just too big!

Cheers.
