You might also want to ask them for their allocation amount and ask where you are on the list. We are not taking deposits on the cars just putting people in order.

I am in Hagerstown, MD. Just ordered a 06 triple black Z-51 vert but I could and would step away from that for a Z06 at MSRP. Otherwise I will just be patient and enjoy this car for a while til things settle down and pricing becomes sane again.

check with Monica - Maxie-Price had allocations for 45 Z06's until the first of the year - all orders have been placed - I am #65, and Monica is estimating I will get car probably March/April, assuming Maxie-Price gets 10 Z06's a month

My buddie is waiting day by day for his delivery. He ordered a Black W/ Cashmere interior, but the dealer called two weeks ago and said they had a Black W/ Titanium on the truck for delivery. I said don't wait for Cashmere interior, get it! So he got it. It left Bowling Green on Oct.1st and still isn't here yet.
Maybe early this week, maybe.
I understand they load the truck up with all Z06's and make the rounds from dealer to dealer until they unload the last one. That would be a sight to see!

I have had an experience of a Corvette lifetime with my 06 victory red Z06. I ordered her from a great dealer, Bruce Glueck Chevrolet in Jasper, Florida, from Becky Davis. Becky was great all through the process and treated me right on the price. My wife and I bought an 04 CE coupe at the same time, about a year and a half ago. Then the wait began. As it became closer and I realized this was not a dream, I made a connection with the Corvette plant with Kevin Terrance and arranged to see my baby built, married, and drive her off the line! I did this on September 24th, one of the 7 Saturdays a year that they work. I spent the day in the plant it was like being a kid in a candy factory. By the end my Z06 was 7th from the end of the line. Talk about exciting, on Monday the 26th, I got to start her up and drive her off the line at 0628 hours BG time! What a thrill! It was hard walking out of the plant that day, but it turned out I was one of the lucky few and had a short wait. On October the 6th I took delivery of my Z06 and drove her home! I have since put about 600 miles on her and have experienced the thrill of some kind of power. It is intoxicating! The car can not go anywhere without drawing a crowd. I have given many friends thrill rides and set them back in the seat with the power. I guess the only thing that does not excite me is the exhaust, even with the valves open, it just does not have that sound. I am waiting for Corsa to develop their system and will change it then. It is a great value and a fantastic car!

Thank you, glad to be here. I also made a mistake already, if you can help out on that. I posted an 01 Z06 for sale in the C6 section - can that be moved to a C5 section? I would appreciate the help. Its a gorgeous Speedway white with mod red interior Z06 that needs a new home since I now realize I won't be driving her much with this red one I now have!

Thanks! So far I have taken the GM emblems off the side, put a C6R skull helmet decal on the back glass, and just got a set of red door handles. I have a red license plate frame on the way. Then exhausts and some kind of air intake, think that will be it! Well, maybe change the wheels a little - I like the optional smoked ones, but they were not available when I ordered. Got to make it a little different looking. You would be surprised about how much the door handles in red change the look!

Just went out to the garage and snapped these, thanks for the help! The skull decal looks better without the flash on it, more of a match for the body color. I think it looks great and supports our C6R team! Got it from a friend who got it from a guy on the net.

He got it Friday. What a mean machine!
We got down to the dealer as it rolled off the transporter, and he drove it to the prep area after everybody in the shop had a chance to ogle it for a few minutes.
It's the first one in town.

That's good because if I had one ordered, I wouldn't want it to sit around at the dealership. I wouldn't want anyone taking it for tests drives...
