If anyone wants to see some pics of my car and can post some pictures i'de be happy to show you guys/gals my favorite car in the whole wide world.

You can also see how I took a traffic cone and turned it into an air duct since I use a speed density system, how I fit 2 small cat. converters in the tunnel while running true 2.5" duals with h-pipe and 1 3.4" headers and my tpis miniram II motor.

Id love to see picks of ur vette! and im very curious how u could use a cone (u mean like an orange one that is used to show where your not supposed to go?) to do anything to a car :L

yep, its a traffic cone, but its the high flow model not found on the street

:)

j/k but I do have an extra one that will fit a JL1 intake. I had to make another one for my miniram since it sits lower and further back.

I do need someone to host pics for me....any volunteers?

host picks? u could just make a bunch of posts and in each post put an attachmet.

You can upload here in the members gallery!

Just look at the blue bar at the top of the screen, and click away!

ok gang, I have my brothers digital camera and plenty of pictures and one picture of my engine bay in my msn email account, but not only did I forget the cord that goes from the camera to the laptop, but I also cant "save" or what-not the pic of my engine bay from the email to my hard drive, or let alone forward the pic.

Everyone, stand by. I'll be stopping by his place later tonight and will update proabbly in the a.m.

Questions!

I like the C4 seats. Were they difficult to mount? Also do you have the name of the maker for your gauges and part numbers?

B

o.k. sorry for the delay in the pics, but the Logitech camera software is not getting alont with windows xy on my compaq laptop.

"Windows XY". No wonder you're having problems. :eyerole

and the last one...ide take more but the sopranos are on and its cold outside!

to be continuted!

Pictures are kind of dark though.. but looks good..

How is it running?

yeah, the pics are kind of dark. I have not played with the camers and its flash.

The car runs great, better than ever. So far im totally satisfied with the motor. Only thing I need to do is replace my injectors as they are getting old and change plugs from fr3ls to fr2ls. Its just hard finding AC delco fr2ls spark plugs around here. I'll proabbly order some off the internet. Now I have the interior apart so I can finish my stereo & a-pillar guage update.

I also found some locals who will rechrome my wheels and correct a ding I have on one of my rims for next to nonthing.

interesting thing with the traffic cone.......wonder how it works.........and yea cant miss sopranos, only thing that could make that show even better was if they all drove Vettes in there

the traffic cone works, but I cant say it took of any e.t. but most importantly it does work and it provides a nice smooth path for air entering the engine, plus it has a larger diameter than the o.e. maf & accordian hose. I did have to cut the tabs that the maf clips onto with the stock air filter housing. This was so the traffic cone would slide on w/o a problem.

only reason I run it is because I use a speed density setup & have no need for the maf. Plus I did not want to pay for a "performance" air coupler.

This was totally free and it only cost me about 1/2 hour of my time.

Its definetly a conversation peice.

When you say totally free, shall I assume there is a traffic situation somewhere that no longer has a small orange soldier to guide traffic?

Actually it is a pretty cool idea. Ken needs to get rid of his MAF now since he too is speed density. This would make a quick mod, plus the bright orange sure would get your attention.

Where traffic cones usually direct traffic, yours directs air flow!
