Are poly bushings really required for the front upper control arms?

I bought from corvette recycling 4 new control arms, and poly ES rears.

then I put new TRW ball joints in my old front lower control arms, with ES polys... what a difference, the car want to bite hard into the asphalt.

the lowers are for sale....

the upper are NOS, and since I don't have a press, vise, and don't trust the shop....

how much cornering am I leaving on the table by keeping the uppers NOS rubber?

I have new Z51 shocks, to replace my FX3 system and poly bushings on the top studs.

32mm front and 26mm rear bars with poly bushing throughout.

any comments would be appreciated...:beer

As far as compliance, since the lower control arm is the one that's most heavily loaded, there is not as much to gain with urethane bushings in the UCA than the LCA.

Well that settle that, it would save me a whole lot of angst and hassle, thanks, I can't imagine it handling better, next question....

can a good alignment help the handling?

Umm, yeah. Some owners have the rear camber bolts marked for street and track on dual use Vettes.
