when i lay off the gas pedal at 50 mph, and then gradually begin to push the accelerator, there is a severe hesitation, and almost a knocking feeling. just wondering if anyone else had this problem. the dealer said this is normal, but it felt far from normal. the car is a 98 vette and has about 60,000 miles on it . thanks a lot for any help.

Bronco, it is not normal. the c-4& c-5 specialist can probily help.

i live in southern new jersey, and was wondering if there is a way to find a c5 specialist to check out my car. thanks

with that many miles i would clean the throttle body as it may be carboned up.

Questions please

Hi there,
First, if I may, I have a few questions please.
In what gear is your transmission???
Are you on a flat surface????
Do you ever get the check engine light???
What service work have you had done recently, within the last 15000 miles?
Let us know, and we can proceed, c4c5:hb

HI there,
Following the information given to me, by your PM, I would say that maybe you have an issue with your transmission, and the torque converter clutch.
While I am not sure, I would say that this would be your starting point.
To check this, is very difficult, and would require some time.
Please keep us posted on how you make out, besttoyou, c4c5:hb
