ASR problems

I have another question, i am new to this, i have had my 96 for 4 months and it just started giving me problems.

is the ASR related to the Tach? my tach works then stops working and when it does the ASR trouble light come on and says to service ASR and ASR is off.

where is the oil pressure sensor? How many are there and if there is 2 which one controls to allow the engine to start when it see 4psi?
