Do you think the automatic Callaway will hold up or be a source of problems in the future. Not talking about racing the car, just spirited driving. Thanks.

My 1998 Callaway/Sport 550 is an automatic with 585hp and 46,000 miles with no problems.

My personal favorite is your LM. Love that one!

A question: does Callaway do transmission upgrades or keep the original equipment? I didn't try to answer the member's question because I wasn't able to answer my own.

Edit: BTW - hope the recent bad weather, flooding and related damage along the East Coast hasn't been a problem for you!
 
The tranys are stock GM.The power was out for a week.Now we have had about eight inches of rain in the last tow days.
