Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone knows the answer to this question. I drive my A4 C5 in the 3 position as opposed to OD under 100mph. Over 100mph I click it into OD. So, if my rear end ratio is the 3:15 when in OD, what is it when I am in 3. It seems to accelerate harder in 3 and it definately rev's higher. I read somewere that GM engineered the car to be driven this way.

Hi
Your rear end ratio is always 3.15:1 no matter what gear you are in. That will not change unless you change the rear end gears.
