Automatic A/C Heater Controls

On occasion, the temp up control stops working. Temp can be adjusted down though. Also, the ventilation will stop functioning, i.e. can not swith from floor to defrost. It makes no difference if it set on auto temp or manual. Same for fan. Any ideas? Thanks.

Sometimes the vacuum lines are the culprit. No a.c. was used to come from my center louvers, the mechanic fixed it by replacing a valve in the vacuum lines... Autocruise was not used to work and the same remedy got it fixed as well...

I had almost the same problem. Check out my previous post. Took it to Chevy dealer, ran some diagnostics, was the heater and A/C control switch. $150 for part, $150 for labor. Part numer was #016192608. Took them 2 hours.
