Help! Automatic Trans Shift Interlock Selenoid 2007

I am having a problem getting my auto trans shifter out of Park at times. Believe it could be the shift interlock selenoid going bad. Have not been able to find a replacement part on any of the GM Parts web sites. Would like any help with my problem or finding a replacement solenoid or shift assembly. 2007 C6 auto trans base model convertible.

First off, a "Welcome" is in order. This is a common problem with C6 Corvettes. It probably isn't the solenoid. I'm PMing you some info.

I'm removing my '07 auto shift lockout this week. I'm tired of diddling with this intermittent problem.

I am having the same issue with my 2007. I’ve seen fixes from destroying the locking device to replacing the entire shifter. Looking for some advice on a proper fix. Thank you!
