Automatic transmission, subtle grinding noise on takeoff

1997 Sebring Silver Metallic Base Coupe
Hi everyone, I am curious about a subtle grinding noise that lasts a fraction of a second that occurs when going from idle to takeoff in first gear. I'm concerned that problem will get worse if I don't take care of it soon. I am driving a 97 C5 with 60,XXX on it. Any and all ideas are welcome.
