My C5 needs tires so I went to Tire Rack to order new ones I have the Pirelli's on now and really liked them but price is more of a factor to me at this time. I was going to use the Kuhmo ASX but the Avons are only $5.00 more and they are the top rated tire (by Tire racks rating) for my criteria.
Has anyone used them on their Vet?
Avon has long been a favorite of Bikers so they can't be too bad.

We have Avons on our Toyota Solara and love them. I run PilotSport ZP's on the Vette, so I personally can't say how Avons would do on the vette. But I can say that the Toyota is a totally different car with them and can actually corner about 3/4 as well as the Vette does. They do suck in the ice and snow, but that's probably not a concearn since they're going on your Vette - on the plus side, I did learn that the Toyota beeps at you just before you lose control :eek If you want to go with a non-runflat, the Avons are one hell of a tire (or, should I say tyre) for the price.

Well the new Tyres are on car rides much better then before, but I Imagine any new tire will do that.:D
