Backfiring - 2002 Coupe

Greetings all - great forum. I have a 2002 Electron Blue Coupe 6 spd.

I recently installed a Corsa catback system (x-pipe and all) and on deceleration and especially serious revving, I get quite a bit of popping and such. It didn't seem to be there prior to the exhaust changeout. Seems like I have read that the x-pipes help reduce this, but I can't recall where. Any ideas would be appreciated. I haven't taken it into a shop yet.

Interesting, but I have the X-pipe and lots of popping. I'll take it in to Corvettes of Houston.
