Thanks to everyone.

I picked up the car today, and it is awesome. I miss the vette (but not all the problems it had). Hopefully in the future I can purchase a C5 corvette or the C6, but with my earnings not now.

That's true with almost ANY car. Even new ones.

The value of a car the first 2 years of its life will be (99% of the time) less than what you owe because consumers would rather buy a NEW car for about the same price. The amount in which owners will be "upside down" gets worse if the owner put 0 down and/or they're financing part of their previous loan in which they were "upside down" in as well.
