I just tuned in to SpeedTV where there is a preview show for the 2004 Barrett-Jackson Auction. They showed a quick shot of the ruby CR1 Twin Turbo. Tune in!...DirecTV channel 607 for me.

Scottsdale is a tremendous place to visit. Last time I was there I took a guided off-road tour in an original Hummmer. What a blast! The only thing that woulda made it better was if I were driving! I'll check into airfare and so forth from Philly. I can't make any promises as I've already got two vacations planned (Bloomington being one) I just dunno. Part of me says that I've already seen the C12 and the Sledge in person, so why see it again? But, on the other hand, this is a serious historic moment for Callaway Cars and Vettes. It'll definitely be a rush to see the auction taking place.

p.s. If they have Yuengling out there.. this could be an influential factor :L

With regards to the Yuengling, I'll check with a friend of mine who lives a couple of hours away in Albaquerque. Hopefully so

This is definitely going to be a memorable event noting that the Sledge, Twin Turbo SuperSpeedster, C7R, and the C12 are going to be auctioned at prime time on the peak day which should draw among the largest bids and are obviously being very featured.

What a comeback for the Callaways in 2004, TV coverage, drawing amongst the highest bids and also being featured at Bloomington and probably Carlisle! ;worship
