Can't Get There From Here.........
I'm on the biggest lake in NJ, 2700+ acres, 35 miles East of the Delaware Water Gap off Rt. 80 and 35 miles West of NYC off Rt. 80. How could you grow up in NJ and never hear of Lake Hopatcong? Everyone comes here in the summer.:W
I wasn't thinking about causing a big enough scene to get arrested or even have your club get involved, once you say what you have to say, it's your word against theirs.
I was at a friends house last week and a guy stopped by with a BIG story about his 79 Ford PU truck and how Pro Street it was and how much $$$ he had in it. I had never met him but as he was talking he leaned against the bug shield on MY 2002 F350 which I had just finished waxing so not wanting to be impolite to my friends friend, I simply asked him if he needed a chair seeing as how he needed something to lean on and MY truck was NOT going to be it. He stepped back, looked at the truck and said "Wow, super nice truck, is it yours, to which I replied, it doesn't matter whose it is, get off it

I'm from SOUTH Jersey. as far as people down there are concerned, NORTH Jersey is a different state!
When we wanted to go down to the shore we went to LBI (Long Beach Island - usually Beach Haven)
yep, people are rude and don't think about their actions. I bet if you had the bike with you he wouldn't have leaned against THAT!
on the other hand, he might have hoped on the bike, bounced up and down on the seat, while begging, "can i take it for a spin, huh, can I, can I"??

I use to have a whole bunch of 3 x 5 cards that said: Caution!! Do not touch this car unless you are naked!! I put them on all sides of the car at shows and never had anyone touch the car after that. Gets their attention!!

what gets to me is that all someone has to do is ask me and I'd be happy to show them anything they wanted to see. I've let people sit in the car a lot of times. It's just the few people that don't have the proper respect for anothers property
