Hi All
planning on installing Vintage Air in my 67 coupe
trying to get an idea of best location of battery
passenger side versus driver
looking for comments for pros and cons of either side
leaning towards the passenger side as it seems a/c hoses will not
block removing battery once surge tank is removed
driver side i am having a hard time visualizing as it seems clutch
assembly is in the way. pictures would be great
thanks

Isn't the Vintage Air unit mounted under the instrument panel? You should have more room in the stock passenger side location that you would with the original heater box.

yes, but also looking at if battery needed replacement which sidr easier
pass. side the ouverflow tank needs to be moved out of the way requiring
draing coolant
driver side has a removable panel to remove battery thru inner ender (may have to remove tire.
dont like thought of draing coolant for battery maintenance but also
would cost ~ $250 for dr. side modification versus how often would you have to
work on battery

Either way doesn't sound like fun.
