Battery Tray

Currently, the only items in my battery compartment are the battery and the pos/neg leads.

It's time for me to get a battery tray. I will need all the parts, bolts/nuts etc, but do not know what I need. Can anyone tell me which parts I need for the complete assembly?

Yeah I looked, they don't sell it as a kit, so I'm not sure what parts I need... It seems that what they have is incomplete.

My 74 is in the shop so I cant check but I checked 3 sites and it looks like the 74 didnt have a tray. Just the hold down clamps. :confused

Greetings from Arizona:
Assuming that your BB and my SB is the same, my battery compartment has a lip at the forward part of the compartment for the forward facing portion of the battery, and a corresponding 4" long curved piece to latch over the rear lip of the battery. It's secured through the floor with bolt with a 1/2" head, about 1.5" long and a bolt on the underside of the car.
If you really get jammed up - -I can probably figure out a way to take a picture since I've got the interior out for new carpeting.

No tray, just a clamp and a bolt. You might need some tape.
