This intake, part #2902 rect. port, was flat milled to a 5.5 inch carb pad height to fit under my 69 L88 Hood. It fits fine with no airbox and with an airbox there was a little interference in the front solved by tilting the back of the air cleaner base up slighly to drop the front. Every car is so different. Anyway this manifold was fully race ported by Mondello last summer and port matched to a 1275 Fel-Pro intake gasket. I also had a water port added next to the thermostat housing and a vacuum port added under the back of the carb. Because of the milling the carb mounting holes were heli-coiled. The manifold is in perfect shape and like new. This is your chance to get a really great flowing intake on your big block Corvette. To duplicate this manifold from Mondello would cost:

2. $498.00 for the porting
3. $198.00 for the milling, water port and vacuum port.
