I got this 88 with front end damage. Has bent frame rails in front where the bumper attaches. The pass side rail is bent inward, and the driverside rail is bent outward. Both are the right hight, just out of line. Any idea how I can unbend these? Without taken it to a bodyshop of course. Heat the rails, and wack it with a sledge hammer? hahaha, i don't know. :confused

thank you

It's gonna be hard, and even then you probably won't get it right. Your best bet is to take it to a body shop and have them straighten or replace the frame horns.

hmmm

Yeah i figured it would be hard. I could weld the new pieces on myself if i could get a hold of an old frame. Not sure if maybe the corvette junkyard would sell me the front end of a frame. But if it's not that expensive i would just take it to a body shop. But i bet they charge a great deal to unbend frames.

If anyone has any good ideas, I'm listening
