Thanks for your assistance. I use a budget car cover on my C4 and keep it parked under the carport. I keep the cover on mainly to keep dust (pollen in the spring) from covering the car and to guard against the occasional neighborhood cat. I also use the cover for the same reason when I remove the targa top and plan to use the car topless the next day. Even though the cover is lightweight and relatively soft, I want to protect my car finish. I use Zaino and the Zaino detail spray in between washes/polishes, but I am thinking that maybe a good coat of wax might help as well. I have Meguiars on hand as well as Turtle Wax. Any thoughts on adding wax? Good? Waste of time? Recommendations on car covers? Any advice from any direction? (-:
Thanks for this forum and your time. Cajun

Cajun,
Whats up. From Lafayette also. Living in Fortuna, CA now. just got my 90 a month ago. I have the cheapy cover too. Clay bar then wax.http://www.chemicalguys.com/

Keep doing what your doing and it'll be fine. I wouldn't bother with wax if your using Zaino.

Heres a posting i Know a bit about Finally

I am now on my second C4 My first was a Black on Black Convert 1995 I know own a 1991 Polo Green Vert with a 6 speed. If any one has ever seen any dark color cars you know you see everything. Swirl marks scratched small water spots. I ran across this Detail Crazy man here in Colorado. His name is Adam of Adamspolishes.com He used my Black C4 in a Demo at a Corvette shop here. She looked good before but she had swirls and scratches as well. and water lines. The products he sells are for high end cars. I used it to completely detail my car that weekend. the Next I won Best Corvette in a Nation wide Contest. So i took a 95 Vette and it was put up agaist all of them and i won. I believe in Adams polishes and I know my word isnt much but I used it on my Bike with a 6000 dollar custom paint I used on my Wifes Pontiac GTP and I use it on my polo green Vert. Look him up Its worth the money and he even shows you how to detail a car top to bottom inside and out Adamspolishes.com Tell them Chris Rector sent you
