Hi all;

Bought a set of Bilstein Sports and 1 1/8" front and 3/4" rear sway bars from VBP today for my 81.

I plan on putting these on myself. Any tips/things to watch out for? I'm soaking the rear shock mounts with PB Blaster a couple of days ahead of time as I've been told they can be a real pita to get off.

Jon,

I've only done my rear shocks so far, mine came off easy as can be but some people really have a hard time with theirs, probably gets harder the farther north you go. The hardest part of getting the rear shocks on/off was the upper bolt, kind of a pain to keep the wrenches up there and turn them. Won't be doing my front shocks for a while so can't help you there, they should be fairly easy as well.
