Update - I replaced the hoses and bled the entire system last night and the problem still exists.

Any other ideas?

Check out cwerve74s post above...

Hey Beatershark....good job!
Just out of curiosity, what made you decide to replace the bleeder screw?

I was replacing my existing bleeder valves with the speed-bleeder type. Only after this appeared to clear my problem did I realize that part of the kit I used to rebuild the caliper was a new bleeder valve.

I still don't understand how it was only effected by right turns :confused

This thread is one reason I love the Corvette Action Center.

All of use, even those who've been working on Corvettes for decades have something to learn.

Clearly, the problem here was a malfunctioning (ie: leaking) bleeder screw on that one caliper. I'd have not considered that idea in a diagnosis by Internet.

Nice going BeaterShark

Hib, not to hijack this thread, but glad to see that you are a member here at CAC. Your BBFH series was the greatest. I used your BBFH trailing arm axle bearing articles as the bible when I redid them on my '72 and it's been smooth sailing for many many miles. I was sorry to see the BBFH series end. Charles
