blinker problem

I have a 74 vette with a blinker problem. Right or left the blinkers dont work. I have already changed the flasher, no luck.
Is this a common problem with vettes, let me know.

You may have a simple ground problem at the bulb housing. Simply take the handle of a pair of pliers, (bare metal handles) spread one handle to a good ground on the car and the other handle to the base of T/L housing. The bulb should begin blinking. This is asumming, the bulbs are on, but do not blink.

perhaps a blown fuse?

Do the brake lights work? Do the turn signal lights come on (but just don't flash)? Do the turn signal indicators in the cluster come on?
