;help Where is the blower relay? My heater/AC blower started running with the key off and I am 1200 miles away from my service manuals.

The only way to turn the fan off is to disconnect one of the plugs on top of the blower unit.

I removed and unplugged the control unit and the fan stayed on so it is not the problem.

With the meter here is what I found. Plug with single red wire reads +12.6 VDC I think that this must be the problem. Is there a relay between the battery and this plug?

Other plug with 4 wires. Black wire and purple wire show ground other 2 are open with no voltage.

As usual I am open to all suggestions as long as the word Ford is not mentioned.:L

This is just great! I'm looking for you and what do I find under the blower motor replacement paragraph?
4. Remove the relay
Then, in the section where it explains how to replace the relay, it states:
REPLACEMENT
  1. Disconnect negative (-) battery cable.
  2. Disconnect electrical connector at relay.
  3. Remove relay.
  4. To install, reverse Steps 1 through 3.

Sometimes it makes me wanna scream! :hb
