Have a question regarding the blower motor on a 1994. There is a black rubber (think it is a hose connected to the lower part of the motor. Need this disconnected to fitt a chrome cover over the motor. Any ideas how this is connected to the motor and how to release it?
Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Steve

Checked the 95 FSM & the only reference I can find is "blower motor cooling tube". That's about it, no pictures or anything to reference.

Sori I can't be more help. I'm sure someone will come up with a better answer.

Same here, have the 93 FSM and it says the same. No help in the manual.

There is a "lip" on the motor end of the hose which extends into the motor housing--you should be able to squeeze the hose together near the motor-twist slightly and pull it free--I've never torn one while removing but some rubber does get hard/brittle with age --so careful is the word :thumb

Thanks, i look for that lip and try. Is this just airing or is there any fluid/gass inside this tube?

Just to cool the motor-no fluid/gas--the "lip" on the hose is inside the hole in the motor--you'll see it once the hose is removed.

Thank you, job is done and quite basic when i first started. Used some soap on the hose to reconnect it.
