BLUE Coolant Hose Kit: CONTINENTAL 5008 High Performance Kit Super Hi-Miler Blue Hose

Have a set on the shelf 'just in case'. Have not used them but it looks like a decent set. I did some parts comparison against what's under the hood and they seem to match just fine. I did not care for the color but that's ok, if I need a part in a hurry I have one.

That's what I was hoping to hear regarding fitment. I find the color to be unique, different, decorative... I've never seen them before. I found them on RockAuto when searching for cooling system parts for my car. They didn't have much in the way of Radiators. I found a couple of nice all aluminum radiators on eBay and Amazon.

This is my first Corvette, a 1985, and I've only had it since Feb 20, 2016. I then went into the hospital for spine surgery (13 fusions) and only just now have I been able to play with it a bit. I'll get the parts and have some mobile mechanic come and do the work for me. I believe the hoses on my car are the originals, 119K miles. Some feel a bit soft and spongy. The Radiator has a small leak, bottom middle. Although my wife may have plugged it up with small carton of black pepper. Anyway, I thought I'd replace it too believing that the small leak means the radiator is showing it's age. I'd hate to have bigger leaks pop up while driving. I'll always keep a carton of black pepper in the car though.

Thanks for the input. I'm still on the fence about getting them. I'm hoping to get some more responses to this post. I've got lots of time to think about and plan things... lots of time.

I was looking for that U shaped hose that goes between the TPI and block at the time as mine was cracked. I spent a lot of time searching the single hose and found this set which had it so I ordered it. While waiting, then found the hose at Autozone in black (car is red) so I used that instead and put the set on the shelf 'just in case'. Parts for a 30 yr old car can be hard to find at times, so I've been stockpiling some of the more likely to need replacing in the future. Happened I would have preferred red but couldn't find a set of those so blue was better than nothing.

Just went shopping eBay for Red about a 1/2 hour ago (about 1/2 hour before reading your post), laughed because I had the same thoughts, Ha!

No Luck!
