Here is a great site with a major Corvette history lesson attached.

Thanks Tom for posting the above link. I remember seeing this site back in August, when I followed a link from the Supercar Registry. It was around the same time that I joined the CACC. Those guys were wondering if anyone knew what had happened to the other missing cars. Perhaps the Guldstrand guys can trace 'em down? --Bullitt

Those are some dyno-****ing mite pictures Tom! :J

Everybody is so young! :L

It is really a shame that Dick moved from that shop. It wasn't much, but damn, the memories it must hold! I can smell it just by looking at the pictures. :gap

Thanks for posting that link. :upthumbs

Thanks, Tom. I don't know if I feel young or old looking at those pictures ;) . I was in high school then and I remember spending hours trying to figure out how to make enough money for a down payment on a new Vette (never happened). Great site, thanks for posting the link.

Wow,

That is so cool.

Thanks, I really enjoyed looking at those historic photos, cars, and legends (both man and machine)

From the website:
The high bank at 160+mph in the promo car .

Awesome site Tom!:upthumbs I hope that promo car goes on the show circuit once the restoration is finished.

Be sure to check out the '67 site too. It's hard to believe that you could get a car like that special built if you knew the right person and Joe Pike was definately the right person.

That site is linked in our Corvette Portal section under General Corvette Sites. :)
