Body Drop Get Together... Or Just A BS Session...

Good luck with the drop VNV. Sounds like you'll have plenty of expert help on that morning. Glad to see your car coming together so well.

Thanks Studiog..... The trick is to keep them sober and remind them that they are working on a Corvette not a MooTang....:L

Mark - I will be there. You have mail or was it a PM - I get them confused. I will also be sporting a fully restored, numbers matching NCRS certified Powell's Super Service t-shirt to bring back some old memories.

Cool Steve... got your email and replied... see you their..:beer

Hope you have a successful body drop and a ton fun along with it. You guys and your "Support group" WOW! Look at the fire up of '67's with Mac from BC and Bossvette and his wife from Ohio, Fuelie, Mart, Ron, Kurt. It really is amazing to see the lengths the CAC family go to for each other. Where else do people take parts off their cars just to get a picture of a detail for another member so they can complete the part they are working on! Send parts to each other across the country or draw on the expertise and experience so generously shared here! You are quite an exceptional group and it is a priviledge to be part of the CAC.
Looks like the weather will be perfect for you too! Have a good time Mark, party hearty, you've worked hard for it! Cheers:beer :upthumbs

Thanks Doug,
Yeah the CAC guys are pretty cool...Huh..? Hope we have some nice weather.
Should be fun hearing the BS stoties.... Just gotta make sure they get the body on straight..:beer

Mark

the nose of the body goes over the gas tank, right? that way when you install the rear window hatch conversion kit it makes it easy to access the motor.

Mark -- You know-- we have not heard from Denney on this thread on this or the other forum. In fact I have not seen any posts from him in a while. I wonder if he is ok. I am sure he would make the trip from maryland for this.

Yeah... you are correct..Wonder what's up?? Has he been in the other place?

Well ..it's a long ride from their for a few hours of banter and beer..but then again a good excuse to drive your Vette..

yea when you travel with the older Vettes they always have to stop for Gas every 150 miles, I can just imagine how many times Bob will have to stop from Ontario to BG I will keep count from Toledo on;LOL

Hope these Air Force guys don't reply when '67 starts asking details about how they refuel while in flight, it might give him new ideas on how to shave off time stopping at gas stations so often en route!;LOL He's extremely creative you know! Dreams turn in to reality when he sets his mind to it!;) See you at BG real soon:upthumbs

;LOL Doug's just a little hyper about Bowling Green and Carlisle. He's trying to jump the calendar by weeks instead of by days.

You better give Doug a Fix and take for a spin around the block to hold him till Drunken fest 2005....:L

:duh :duh :duh :duh :( :beer Tooooo eager or what! I had it in my head the drop was this Saturday not the 4th. Watch me knock on Bob's door next Thursday at 5AM to leave for BG! Catch you later after my name change and face lift! It's so much funnier when someone else does it!!!:confused

Am I having a good day? .....................Sure!

Heh Doug,
No big deal...just funnen with yah. We all Brain "F" every now and then. Like 2 weeks ago after installing my freshly rebuilt Heater box...trying to figurer out why the blower motor wouldn't run.

Turns out the motor actually runs better when there is a wiring harness in the engine compartment hooked up to the motor..:L

I'm a glutton for punishment but here goes again! I see on the calendar that the big day is THIS Saturday, June 4th. Got the beer fridge full? If the great weather holds up you should have a good turnout and regardless of the weather you'll no doubt all have a great time. Hope everything goes smoothly and I'll wait until after the 4th before I ask how it went this time;) :L . Enjoy yourselves:beer
